How long have we been in business?
American Signs has been operating in Greater Los Angeles for 20 Years and are now 3rd generation sign makers. We are in the heart of West Los Angeles and serve the greater community. Family owned and operated, American Signs was founded in 1984 in Houston, Texas also with operations in Denver, Colorado. We service nationwide projects.
What are our specialties?
American Signs in Los Angeles has diverse capabilities that have been perfected by the local business and entertainment industry signage demands. Our state-of-the-art large format print facility and custom sign fabrication facility meets the needs of any sign project large or small. We love making custom signs and excel in demanding projects from business signs to event signage.
How do I handle the graphics?
Graphics is where the process begins. If you have artwork ready to be brought to life just send it over to start the process. We have creative team that will handle every aspect of helping in the sign design process. We will consult you on the best size, material and implementation of your new signs.
What graphic file types can I supply?
We prefer Vector Outline EPS files or Adobe Illustrator. These allow us to scale your logo to any size without any loss of quality. JPEG, PNG and other static files will work for reference, but in order to make your sign we will need vector artwork or a specific font type.
How do I send the graphic files?
Most times email is fine. If it’s a large file there are lots of options for file transfer online that are free to use.
What about rush orders and timeline?
We are know in Los Angeles as having the fastest turn-around on sign projects. We do work on a first-come-first-serve basis. So, it is always best to consign us early for your project and provide a reasonable timeframe.
Is your pricing competitive?
Absolutely! For many people that haven’t purchased a sign before it can surprising how much the higher-end signs cost, however, we work with budget friendly projects everyday.
What is your quality?
We use state-of-the-art equipment and the most enduring materials. The difference is startling. It’s good to note that you can have signs cheaply made, but quality always wins. Over the last 20 years we have installed many signs in Los Angeles that are not only iconic, but also stand the test of time.
